Name : LDQ10                                  monoclonal anti MUC2

Literature references :

Isotype : IgM

Origin, source : Mice were immunised  with the deglycosylated mucin isolated from LS174T cell line. The parental cell were NS-1 mouse myeloma cells. Hybridomas were screened by indirect immunofluorescence on cultured LS174T cells, SK-MEL-131 melanoma cells and colon cancer tissues.

Specificity : The LDQ10 antibody reacts with the deglycosylated HT-29 MTX colon cancer mucin.

Cross-reactivity :  The LDQ10 antibody does not react with peptides from MUC1, MUC3, and MUC4 tandem repeat.

Binding Assays : Strong reactivity with a peptide located in the C-terminal part of the MUC2 tandem repeat (VTPTPTPTGTQTC). Positive signal was obtained with the deglycosylated HT-29 MTX  mucin but not with the native mucin.

Immunoblotting : Positive signal with HT-29, HT-29 MTX lysates and WIDR-FBS cells.
