Origin, source : The M8 antibody was raised against human milk fat globule membrane.

Specificity :  The epitope resognised by the M8 antibody is DTR within the Tandem repeat domain of MUC1.

Cross-reactivity : Lower molecular weight bands are detected in addition to the genuine MUC1 bands on immunoblotting.
Binding Assays : No information available

Immunoblotting : Works well on immunoblotting of urine samples and a wide range of other tissues

Immunohistochemistry : Works well using standard technique
