A Postdoctoral position to work on proteome analysis of signal transduction. The position involves the rapid, parallel analysis of large numbers of proteins using a range of techniques including MALDI and ESI mass spectrometry, 2D electrophoresis, cell culture, molecular biology and quantitative ultra-low-abundance proteomics analysis. Training in proteomics will be provided. Experience in MS and/or cell culture and molecular biology will be advantageous.
Salary is on the RAIA scale, starting on pt 8 £ 24352 plus £2,400 London Allowance depending on age and experience. The post is available immediately and is funded by the EU for 2.5 years.
