Kira Kowalska interview: Predictive Policing

Project member Kira Kowalska gave a talk detailing her work as part of a popular science conference. The conference, called “Science Polish Perspectives”, took place at the University of Cambridge from 29-31 October, 2015. The talk was titled “Predictive Policing: can we use Big Data to prevent crime?”, and discussed tools that could help normal humans predict and prevent future crimes, the use of large crime datasets and mathematics to see patterns in crime occurrence, and the interactions between criminals and the police.
