Moore/2001, 33: `the site ... contains the wall footings of a medieval church, a bullaun, part of a quern, a holed stone and numerous architectural fragments. ... The site is on the lower western slope of Slieve Gamph, east of the Moy and in the barony of Gallen. … Kilgarvan itself is said to have been founded by St Fechin of Fore, a Connact man, in the seventh century, but this inscription would seem to imply that the site was in existence before Fechin'.
