This module presents an introduction to the principles of interpreting archaeological evidence.
The module aims are to teach students to criticize and evaluate published interpretations of archaeological data; to give students practical hands-on experience in interpreting archaeological evidence; and to teach students how to apply the fundamentals of data interpretation to new problems and to their own research (e.g. BA/BSc dissertations).
