This module will introduce various approaches to the archaeological analysis of human beings, past environments, resources and subsistence.
This first-year core module runs in Term 2. Utilising mainly life-science oriented approaches, it will explore osteology, paleopathology, diet, genetics, demography, past environments as well as resources and subsistence (geoarchaeology, zooarchaeology, archaeobotany and field sampling strategies).
