Working title for PhD: 'Printmaking in the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies (1734–1799)'

Domenico graduated from UCL with a BA in History of Art in 2017 and an MA in the same subject in 2018. He was for over one year the editorial intern at the academic journal Print Quarterly and subsequently the Bromberg Fellow in the Department of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum. He is also a volunteer at the Wallace Collection, where he has been instrumental in the launching and running of the Hands on Armour workshops.

His research focuses on printmaking in eighteenth-century Naples and its aim is to investigate the relationship between the print industry and the rise of the modern state using as a case study a less-than-perfect model.

His PhD is fully funded by the LAHP Scholarship and is supervised by Richard Taws and Rose Marie San Juan.
