UCL has partnered with the Ca'Foscari University of Venice Department of Humanities to offer a double BA degree. This is a four-year BA degree programme, with the first two years spent in Venice and the final two years in London. Students on the programme will graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities from Ca'Foscari University of Venice and a Bachelor's Degree in Italian Studies or Italian and Art History at UCL.
Each year, a maximum of 8 students will be admitted; applicants must be proficient in English and Italian. Applications are administered through UCAS.
The programme offers a unique opportunity for bilingual students to study in two countries, two languages, and two cultures, gaining academic and cultural experience that deepens their approach to art history.

"The programme is structured so students can tailor their interest in art history. UCL History of Art offered a wide, rich and unusual selection of modules, focusing on more unexplored themes in art history. UCL History of Art constantly involved its students in educational and cultural events, such as talks, film screenings and socials.
I particularly enjoyed my modules in South African Photography (Professor Tamar Garb), Action Re-action (Dr Cadence Kinsey) and Planetary vs Provincial Art (Dr Jenny Nachtigall).
For me, the most rewarding aspect of the course was the bridge of connections, peers and experiences that the university exchange provided me. Sometimes, I think Venice and London can represent two sides of the same coin as they are such insightful places to interact and interweave with the cultural scene (arts, film, photography). The programme was challenging, but I have been well rewarded with the experiences that both universities and cities offered me as an art student, art lover and person."
