Increasing heritage engagement using social media

Together with Data Science for Cultural Heritage MSc student Tian Cui, ISH academics Pakhee Kumar and Scott Orr published an open-access paper analysing posts from Historic Environment Scotland’s Instagram account @historicscotland.

In collaboration with Heritage Malta, an international team of heritage students from UCL Institute for Sustainable Heritage have been studying the site, ahead of the plans to eventually open the building and garden to the public.

For the annual field trip module this year, the Sustainable Heritage MSc students worked in collaboration with the Wallace Collection. Situated in central London, the Wallace Collection houses a spectacular collection of paintings, furniture and other historic artefacts.
