Athina Stavrou is a Future Trainee Solicitor at Fieldfisher, commencing her Training Contract in 2026. She holds an LLM in Competition Law with distinction from University College London (UCL), where her research explored the intersection of competition law and intellectual property, with a particular focus on FRAND commitments in the Digital Markets Act (DMA). Athina graduated with First-Class Honours in Law (LLB) from Queen Mary University of London and gained practical experience through a vacation scheme at Fieldfisher in London focusing on Corporate Law and an internship at Herbert Smith Freehills in Brussels, working in the Competition, Regulation, and Trade team. She is currently a Research Assistant at the Institute of Brand and Innovation Law at UCL.
