Prior to undertaking her MA, Lisa worked as a headhunter specialising in the public sector, and worked with a number of central government departments and arm's-length bodies on board-level appointments.

Lisa is co-author, with Meg Russell, of The Parliamentary Battle over Brexit. She has co-authored two articles published in Parliamentary Affairs: 'Representation of the UK Parliament’s Power in the National Media: Too Weak, or Too Strong?’ with Meg Russell, and ‘Parliamentary Influence on Brexit Legislation, 2017-2019’ with Tom Fleming. She has also co-authored or contributed to a number of Constitution Unit and UK in a Changing Europe reports, including Rebuilding and Renewing the Constitution: Options for Reform, with Meg Russell and Hannah White.
