Thesis Submission

When you are ready to to submit your thesis, it's a straightforward online process. UCL will then forward your thesis to your examiners.

Note that all tasks related to examination entry must be completed before you submit your thesis. Additionally, your examiners need to be appointed before your submission.

These processes should ideally be finalised several months prior to submission. You can find detailed information on these processes on the relevant pages.

Viva Guidance

As part of the examination process for research degrees at UCL, you'll undergo an oral exam known as a viva. This occurs after you've submitted your thesis.
