I am an applied macroeconomist with interests in fiscal policy. In my research I employ econometric tools to explore the effects of taxes and government spending on the economy. In my job market paper I use household panel data to analyse the effects of taxation on mobility across the income distribution. In previous research I have looked at the aggregate impact of government spending during times of high uncertainty and recessions.
