- Mental Health and Wellbeing training for Managers
Managers are managing teams remotely and/or managing anxieties and concerns about returning physically to the workplace from their staff. On line facilitated i-act workshops will equip managers with the confidence to best support the high levels of anxiety and depression that they are likely to come across and be more likely to spot the signs of suicide in their staff, leaving UCL people less vulnerable to the non-medical effects of COVID-19.
i-act equips managers with over 50 practical tools to support them during this phase plus over 95 agencies/organisations to refer on to. Trainers are experienced facilitators at UCL and an also refer to internal resources. i-act shares tools for promoting positive wellbeing in the workplace (or virtual workplace) that managers can adapt to build resilience within their teams as well as receiving guidance and advice on how to connect with colleagues who may be experiencing a mental health or wellbeing issue.
You can book your place on this course via Learning and Development website or MyLearning platform. The bookings will close 12 days before the session to allow enough time to request further information from each of the participants and to post manuals prior to the training. Around 10 days before the training, you will receive a form you will need to fill in to provide contact details.
