Support sessions for teams/individuals
Facilitated by Wellbeing Consultant and Coach, Bernadette Davies. Sessions can be virtual or face to face. Costs vary according to numbers of participants and method of delivery. Please email Berni directly for a quote.

- At a Loss - Get up to date information on all bereavement support avenues, including local support groups, helplines, information and guidance. You can search for support using a combination of filters to identity services.
- Cruse - Contact their free helpline and speak to someone about how you’re feeling. They also offer ongoing support via their local branches where you can access support groups and 1:1 support with grief counsellors.
- Marie Curie - access 6 free phone sessions of listening support if you have lost someone from an illness and need ongoing, consistent support.
- Sands - offer baby support and loss information and guidance, including A-Z directory of services.
- Child bereavement UK - contact their helpline if you have been impacted by the death of a baby. They also provide advice and guidance on how to support yourself or others who are bereaved.
- Survivors of bereavement by suicide - contact their helpline and speak to a volunteer if you have been bereaved or affected by suicide.
- Facing the Future - attend a support group if you have been bereaved by suicide and would like a space to talk about your experience with others who are experiencing the same.

- Marie Curie has advice and guidance on how to respond and support colleagues when a staff member dies and how to support yourself.
- Mind provide information and guidance on bereavement, including an A-Z directory of services that can support bereavement
Face to face support for those who feel suicidal
- James Place - access up to 6 to 8 face to face therapeutic sessions for men who are feeling suicidal.
- The Listening Place - face to face listening support for those who feel life is no longer worth living. Support is offered on a fortnightly basis for 3 months.
- Maytree Respite centre - a 4-night, 5 day stay for people who are feeling suicidal.

- Acas - free service for all UL citizens. Speak to and get impartial advice on workplace rights, rules and best practice.
- Citizens Advice Bureau - access this free service, they have a wealth of information on work-related matters.
Emotional and mental health support
- Talking Therapies - evidence based service, available if you are experiencing anxiety and/or depression. You can self-refer or speak to your GP to access this service.
- Mind advice lines - provide confidential mental health information services around types of mental distress, where to get help, drug treatments, alternative therapies and advocacy.
- Rethink Mental Illness Advice Line - call 0300 5000 927 (9.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday). Get expert advice and information on mental health problems. Available to carers, health professionals, employers and staff.
- Saneline - call 0300 304 7000 (4:30pm-10:30pm every day). Access specialist emotional support, guidance and information. Available to friends, families and colleagues of those with mental health conditions.
Financial advice and guidance
- London Capital Credit Union - through our partnership with London Capital Credit Union, a salary saving scheme is available to our employees. You can also access their support around money management, money troubles, debt and borrowing.
- Citizens Advice Bureau - access signposting options and extensive, impartial advice on finding a suitable financial advice organisation.
