Jo-Anne will discuss from an editor's perspective what she looks for in submissions to the journal she co-edits: the Oxford Review of Education. She will explore common pitfalls and her tips on getting your research published, and will be taking questions from the audience after the event.  


This hybrid event will be particularly useful for researchers and practitioners interested in publishing their own research and those interested in keeping up to date with trends and patterns in academic publishing.

The in-person location for this event will be confirmed closer to the date.


Sit with the Editor seminar series

The new ‘Sit with the Editor’ series provides a series of relaxed, face to face and online forums for the research community to engage with editors from prestigious journals. The series aims to support to researchers as they begin, and continue publishing their research.

Jo-Anne Baird

Director of the Oxford University Centre for Educational Assessment and a Professor of Educational Assessment

Jo-Anne is Co-Lead Editor of the Oxford Review of Education journal, which publishes a wide range of significant and innovative educational research.
