Clinical Research Facility

The Leonard Wolfson Experimental Neurology Centre (LWENC) is located on the ground floor of the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. It was the first centre in the UK to specialise in the delivery of early phase clinical research in neurodegenerative diseases.

The LWENC has been part of the NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility (CRF) since 2018.   The NIHR UCLH CRF consists of two sites: LWENC plus the larger of the two sites at 170 Tottenham Court Road, close to the main UCLH hospital.  Please see the NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility website for further information.
