In leestekst 1, we came across ‘dit’ as a Dutch word for ‘this’. Here, however, we find ‘deze’. As you may have begun to suspect, the form used depends on whether a de-word or a het-word is being referred to – ‘dit’ is used with het-words, ‘deze’ with de-words.
