T71/872: claim by W. Raynes Appleton et al., of 'Hanover', as executors of Wm. Appleton (the mortgagee). Counterclaim from William Mitchell Kerr and Wm. Reeves, as executors of Edward Earl, a judgement creditor.
T71/1608: letter, dated 15/07/1837, from Wm. M. Kerr, No. 1 Little Bush Lane, Upper Thames St., London, stating: 'I have to request that the sum of £757 1s 3d awarded by you to WMK and Wm Reeves...be determined by you subject to my order'. Refers to the Chancery suit of Allen vs Appleton for the remainder (of £4389 5s 10d). Allen was the mortgagor. Letter, dated 03/09/1836, from Ben Allen, 16 Austin Friars, London, wanting to file a counterclaim and to look at mortgagee accounts.
