T71/867: claim by John West and David Laing, St Thomas-in-the-East, trustees of Mount Lebanus Estate. Counterclaim from Wm Wyllys [of Morley House in the parish of Stanton Drew Somerset - T71/1200] for an annuity of £700, due £1600.

T71/150 p. 561: enslaved persons registered by Thomas McCornock as attorney to the trustees of Mt Lebanus estate in 1832.

Jamaica Almanac (1832): Mt Lebanus registered to William Wyllys.

Alan Furness 'The Jamaican coffee Boom and John Mackeson, A Blue Mountain coffee planter 1807-19', Jamaican Historical Review Vol. III No. 3 March 1962: identifies Wm Wyllys as owner of Mt Lebanus in 1807, when Wyllys and his brother-in-law John Mackeson travelled together to Jamaica.
