Parliamentary Papers p. 311. John Delap Wilson was receiver in Chancery, case of Greatheed vs Wilson and others.

T71/1224: letter, dated 28/11/1835, from Chas. Harrison, 18 Southampton Street, stating his concern for trustees residing in this country of a mortgage of £5,000. The court has ordered rents issues, crops and produce to be applied first in reduction of the claim of the trustees, so not contested. John Delap Wilson is in England, residing in Hampshire. The trustees are 'willing to cooperate with him for obtaining payment of the compensation money in this case'.

T71/1295: shows 'no counterclaim'.

Caribbeana Vol. VI p. 43: shows John Delap Wilson, of St Kitts and Milford, Hampshire, married to Ann Smith, who was the niece of Hon. Robert Claxton (Chief Justice of St Kitts). The will of John Delap Wilson, of Hordle in the county of Southampton, dated 17/02/1851, left the St Kitts estates to his son and two daughters (died 05/01/1866 in Bath, Somerset).
