Possible problem with the figures for compensation and number of enslaved persons, which appear inconsistent. It is possible the award should show 28 enslaved people rather than 20.

Born into slavery in Carriacou, Grenada, Malvina Wells became a lady's maid in Edinburgh and a trusted family friend to her employers.

A cover note outlining the contents of the document.
