Established in London in 1767 to reorganise the iron mining and smelting operations at Ringwood in New Jersey founded by Andrew Seton, the cousin of Admiral Arthur Forrest. Investors included Arthur Forrest, Richard Willis and Richard Atkinson (each of whom q.v.).
