Documents in the University of Miami Special collections show a re-arrangement of ownership of the estate in 1810 and on 1st December 1813, Musgrave Brisco and Wastel Brisco jr conveyed the Coffee Grove estate in Clarendon to William Mitchel [sic]. This would appear to be Musgrave and Wastel Brisco selling the estate that their mother's aunt Jane Blinshall had bequeathed to their mother and her children as tenants-in-common in her will made in 1798 and proved in 1802. Wastel Brisco jr. would have just reached his majority in 1813.
