Returned slave-owner of Jamaica, resident in the 1830s, but dying 'of Edinburgh' c. 1850.
The will of James Tulloh [sometime] of [St Catherine Jamaica but now residing at East Claremont Street] Edinburgh proved 13/03/1850. He left £10,000 to his daughter Georgianna Jane Tulloh, and an annuity of £350 p.a. to his wife: his residuary heir was his son James Stewart Tulloh. James Tulloh formerly of Jamaica but now of Edinburgh was the pursuer in a suit against B.I. Williams (q.v., under Bartholomew Ibbott Williams) in 1846 alleging neglect of Tulloh's Jamaica property by Williams.
Tulloch's son James Stewart Tulloch MD died 27/11/1875 formerly of 1 Pembridge Place afterwards of 16 Chepstow Villas, effects £4000.
