John Berkeley of the City of London lodged a counterclaim for Antigua claim no. 930 but then withdrew it. John Berkeley of Middlesex counterclaimed unsuccessfully for Grenada claim no. 467. Possibly the same man as John Henry Earle Berkeley (q.v.) who is usually given as J. Berkeley in the claims he made.
