Thomas Bartrum, of 72 Old Broad St., London, acted as attorney to Nicholas Kirwan, of the City of Dublin in his claim for compensation for Bendals estate in Antigua. Messrs Bartrum & Son of 72 Old Broad Street were shown as solicitors in 1837.

Jamaican-born widow of a prominent slave-owner; resident in Britain following the death of her husband in 1818. Accused - and acquitted - of the cruel treatment of some enslaved people whom she brought to Britain with her.
