Slave-owner of Arthurs Seat in Barbados until c. 1829, when 59 of the enslaved people were sold to George Nelson Taylor, while the remainder in 1831 were registered by George Nelson Taylor's brother Edward Butler Taylor (each of whom q.v.).
Logically likely to have been a relative of the Taylor brothers. Possibly the same as Samuel Taylor, Awardee, Barbados 3154.
