Biography

Slave-owner in Jamaica, dead by 1793. He was shown as a magistrate in the 1776, 1782 and 1784 Almanacs. A Benoni Smith was the Captain or owner of a ship from Jamaica called the Kingston, stranded in Hearne Bay in 1761.
