William Hughes of the parish of St Andrew in Jamaica, planter, about embarking for England.

All my real and personal estate to my beloved wife Rosetta for her natural life provided she manumises my reputed son William, a slave, son of Mary Wiltshire, also a slave of my own, and remits to each of my sisters Sarah and Elizabeth the sum of £50 sterling per annum. On the demise of my wife, the whole of my estate real and personal to my sisters Sarah and Elizabeth.

My wife and sisters to be my executors.

Signed at Kingston 07/07/1820.

Sworn in Jamaica 20/11/1837.

Proved in London 24/01/1838 by Elizabeth Millward (wife of William Millward), the sister, the surviving executor.
