Biography

  1. John Townshend Harris, son of George and Mary Harris, born 14/7/1769 and baptised 06/08/1769 in Kingston, Jamaica. Memorial inscription St Andrew Cemetery, Jamaica: "In memory of Frances Harris who departed this life on the 5th November 1820, aged 42 years and 2 months. And John Townshend Harris her husband, who departed this life on the 16th February 1836, aged 66 years and 7 months. Also Jane their daughter, who departed this life on the 19th April 1836, aged 22 years and 23 days. And James Turner Harris, infant son of George Harris who departed this life on the 11th November 1831, aged 2 weeks."
