Partner in Walrond Ellis of Glasgow (q.v.) and Walrond Browne (from 1845 Walrond Johnstone) of Liverpool, appears to have retired 1858, when Jno Morroison and Clement Ellis came into partnership, And. Johnstone and James Ellis ceased, and the Liverpool firm was renamed as Walrond Morrison.
