One of a group of family awardees, mostly named Shaw, of the compensation for the enslaved on Bishop's Mount in St Mary Jamaica, those identified (e.g. John Buchan Brodie, q.v.) of whom were resident in Scotland. He was presumably connected to this family, but nothing further has yet been traced of him.
