Dates of tenure of Horsham are approximate. Stood in 1807 general election in the Irwins’ burgage borough of Horsham, "for which the going rate was said to be 4000 guineas". Unsuccessful at the poll but seated in February in 1808 on petition to the house. (Oxford DNB)
