UCL students, staff and external users with a borrowing account can use our Click and Collect Service to obtain library books that we hold.
Video: the Click and Collect service
We've made improvements to our Click and Collect service.
Who can use the Service
The Service is available for all UCL students, staff and external users with a borrowing account. When collecting, please bring your UCL ID/library membership card with you.
UCL students and staff as well as NHS and London Mathematical Society users can request ten books at a time, and other users can request three books at a time.
We advise that you check whether there are copies available in the library before placing a request, as on loan items will take longer to fulfil. Please note the estimated Click and Collect Turnaround Times below:
- Item is available at the pick-up library: within 2 working days*.
- Item is available at a different UCL library: within 2 working days*.
- All copies of the Item are on loan: when you reach the front of the queue you will receive the next copy that is returned. While you wait, we will recall a copy of the book from loan and will suspend all renewals on that title.
* Monday - Friday, excluding Bank Holidays and UCL Closure Days.
