Although Evans was greatly absorbed after 1900 and the start of excavations at Knossos with his archaeological work he still maintained an interest in the fortunes of the South Slavs and the creation of a united South Slav state. To this end he was a member of the Serbian Society and was involved with the Serbian Relief Fund during the First World War and after the war was present at the Paris Peace Conference to represent the interests of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (Yugoslavia).
Contents: pamphlets, press bulletins and off prints mainly re South Slavs, particularly re humanitarian aid and efforts towards the creation of a united South Slav state during and shortly after the First World War.
