Terrorist attacks
Central London is continuing to get back to 'business as normal' following
the bombings in central London on Thursday 7 July (the Metropolitan Police
have now reported the total number of fatalities that day to be 56 and the
total number of casualties as approximately 700) and following further,
related incidents which occurred in London on Thursday 21 and 22 July.
The hotels listed on this website are all within walking distance of the British Library
but for information tube stations damaged in the bombings are gradually reopening as
the transport system continues to get back to normal. For the latest
information on changes to Tube and bus services please see the Transport for
London website .
Otherwise, arrangements are progressing as normal and we are looking forward
to welcoming you to the conference in September.
