There is a vast literature on the Amarna period. The most recent bibliography
is found in Martin 1991. Also of great
value are the reading-lists in Boston
1999 and in Gabolde 1998.

map of the city of Amarna)

in favour of a coregency between Amenhotep
III and Akhenaten)
- Gabolde 1998 (a fundamental research;
provides a new view on the end of the Amarna period)
