Palestine-Syrian seals with Egyptian motifs (about 1900 - 1740 BC)
UC 11616 (the hieroglyphs in the cartouche were read by Petrie and others as a name of a king 'Khamudy', but the seal is one of a group of green jasper Syrian cylinder seals of the 18th century BC, with Egyptian hieroglyphs deployed for visual or amuletic effect, not to be read in their original sense - see the Eder reference below for a discussion)
