Table Texts
Table texts are an important tool in Egyptian mathematics. They contain,
as the name suggests, tables. The majority of the extant table texts are
tables for fraction reckoning, the most famous of which is the 2:n table.
In addition there are also tables for metrologic conversions. Among the
Lahun mathematical fragments, possibly two are
table texts: UC 32159 (2:n table)
and UC 32161.
