Shurafa: the 3-D models
There is little information on Scenas Mandras available. There is the plan of the site published by Petrie, which is very general, providing only the outline of the town including a plan of the fortress, and there is our general knowledge about towns in Egypt from about AD 200 - AD 1000. On Digital Egypt for Universities there are three models. Each model represents one major period of the first millennium AD, in order to present in visual form the transformations in the religious landscape of Egypt across these centuries.

the town at about AD 400 with a Christian church
|
the town at about AD 800 with an Islamic mosque
