Byzantine Period: terracottas
There is only a reduced terracotta production in the Byzantine period. It seems that there was no longer mass production in the same number and high standard as in the Roman Period. However, the Menas ampullas demonstrated that there are at least some types of objects of higher quality produced in quantity.
