Nebwenenef - who was he?
Nebwenenef was high priest of Onuris and Hathor at Denderah under Sety I.

In the first year of Ramesses II
he was appointed to the post of high
priest of Amun in Thebes. This event is described in his Theban
tomb (Theban tomb 157).

The importance of the person is clear from his high title, but also from the fact, that Nebwenenef had his own mortuary temple in Thebes West.
