Lab-grown oesophagus has huge possibilities

A team co-led by Dr Paola Bonfanti and Professor Paolo De Coppi (both UCL GOS Institute of Child Health) has successfully grown the world's first oesophagus engineered from stem cells and implanted it into mice.
