Periods of intense humidity are more strongly linked to increased rates of suicide

A new study shows that when humidity increases it stresses our bodies physically, which can have a knock-on effect on mental stress, as well as affecting the way that certain medications work, says Professor Ilan Kelman (UCL Institute for Risk & Disaster Reduction).
