International Commercial Law LLM

Taught by renowned professors and industry experts

I believe my experience with UCL has been truly transformative for me in terms of a career plan and as an individual.

I wanted to undertake a Master’s that would prepare me for tackling real-world legal issues and solve real-world problems which could be faced in my future job.

I have garnered unique and valuable lessons from an exceptional faculty of law professors and staff that are truly unique to the family of UCL Laws. I was taught by renowned professors and industry experts, whose practical experience provides an extensive insight of law.

The technical detail that was taught during lectures has provided me with an unparalleled opportunity to engage with both theoretical and practical knowledge. This knowledge can subsequently be applied to real-world problems in the maritime sector, potentially influencing policy and industry standards.

I believe my experience at UCL, considering the people I have met, and the excellent academic experience through my classes, will follow me for the rest of my life. I am extremely grateful and proud to have been a part of this community.

Networking opportunities

Outside of the classroom, networking opportunities at UCL are always available and diversified to accommodate everyone’s different plans and aspirations. I had the opportunity to network through several different forums provided by UCL, including legal presentations and events with law firms organised by student led societies.

I believe that studying at UCL will change my future for the better because it has facilitated my understanding of the exceptional people that encompass the industry that I seek to be a part of, and has provided me with knowledge and hands-on experience that will aid my transition into the workplace.

Studying in London

Being a Master’s student in London is a lot of fun, and I’ve had unique experiences throughout the year that will I remember forever. Some of my most memorable experiences were seeing the spectacular Northern Lights from Primrose Hill, visiting the British Film Institute cinema which has one of the largest cinema screens in the world, and renting a bike to explore the South Bank visiting all the unique monuments and buildings that provide the character of the city.

Gain knowledge. Gain advantage. Make your Master’s matter.
