High Love, Eva Kraljic, 2019
I throw a nylon fish line from the power of my Throat. Listening carefully to the leaded bead sink. Guttural lungs of proximal planes I am saying words to avoid measuring anything. Recognising a rope breathing atop another one. Instead of waves breathing tides caressing boats that mount and groan waving their property. When the time comes to throw my waist overboard to see whether it belongs to none, a yacht comes gleaning Meaning: Everything blocks the black surface. Stereo version of a 4-channel sound installation made in collaboration with Nel Gevers. 15' 19" Shot in the old port of Nice, France.
