Jon Gabb uses art-making as a means to open-up a between space, a place experienced through dreaming. By disengaging and allowing the body to be a part of the making process, a kind of somatic undertaking takes place. Forms, shapes and colours awaken the senses. The senses are loci where an exchange with the external world takes place. Through a wandering and travelling through mediums he seeks to find the architecture in which the spirit of something can enter.
