not TV now an environment used to explore the possibility of internationally accessible art viewed in part or in whole on the Internet.
It has the capabilities to web cast images live and as pre-recorded video streams over the Internet at a rate that makes it possible to be viewed on a 56k modem at 100 stations anywhere in the world at any one time.
not TV is commited to promoting and facilitation the creation of work made in part or in whole to be shown via the Internet.
Work shown on the Internet is available to anyone with access to the world wide web, not TV is an international exhibiting space.

Not TV’s Being There :
Is an online exhibition to explore the overlap of physical and on-line space.
Not TV facilitates the creation of artworks that are made specifically in part
or in whole for the Internet.
Being There can be viewed from any internet portal any where in the world.

The project and web site will launch with a party in London on 1st May, then a
new artist will be showcased once a week on a Thursday.
